En retard, et oui!

In fact, I have been sick this past week. J’ai attrapé froid (I caught a cold), or if I had to use a slang, I would say: j’ai attrapé le crève!

I have been coughing (to cough = tousser) ; I have a cough (avoir de la toux) ; ce qui a retardé les enregistrements.

It is a great opportunity to let you know that I am using Twitter to give a phrase, expression or a verb every day. You can follow up the update on Facebook or Myspace (ou sur le site de Twitter directement). Vous pouvez même recevoir les mises à jour (updates) par téléphone.

Bon ... That is no news, but I will post this week end the podcast 64, 65 and hopefully 66 ! 3 en 1.

The 64 is dated on Nov. 4^th, 65 on Nov. 11^th and 66 on Nov. 18^th. I will not do a podcast for the Thanksgiving week end (in fact, it will not be dated on Nov. 25. Intead the 67 will be dated on Dec. 2d).

Last year, while thanksgiviing (!), I rushed myself and did not enjoy "ma dinde".

Well, as you may have see or guess, am still a little late!

After a short break, I am still remodeling some few things, and preparing a new transcript – et oui! Le nouveau pdf serat different. Not much, but will get more infos and features.

I am struggling a bit with acrobat and word, so if anyone is pretty good with the TOC, let me know!

I am also preparing some “interactive� features (dictation, flash cards, …).

Je vous promets, ca vaut le coup d’attendre et d’avoir ete patient! Next podcast will be here very soon, almost immediatly followed by the 62.

I will also skip the podcast 62, scheduled on September 23^rd, and will broadcast it on either Saturday the 30^th or Saturday, Ocotber 7^th. It will be either a week or 2 off.

The reason for this is quit simple: I am very late (about a week delay as of today),and just got some minor problems, that led me to a position were it is impossible for me to keep up  for the next few days (minor issue that bring me to the doctor in the USA!).

Podcast 62 and 63 will be specials – After some request, I will do those 2 special ones about more expressions used every day (news, day to day talks), followed directly by conversations, to place those in practice!

Donc, en attendant, stay tunes!

Chers Auditeurs (or Dear Listeners),

I am coming back to a normal schedule. After some computer crash, I had to prepare a trip back to France, clean out some papers with a bunch of governmental office and most importantly, decided to "clean" all the websites.

If you hold on tight, a new look will be here soon. But migrating is long and I want it to be as easy as possible. Some listeners are helping in that process, and I wanted to say how grateful I was! I could never done it by myself.

This podcast is yours, and I am happy that everyone can contribute to it. I will also pretty soon make a specific announcement, but I will keep that as a surprise :) Et comme on dit, un peu de mystere ne fait de mal a personne!

I am flying back to France on Monday (May 22d), and am still preparing/packing (je fais mes sacs, prepare mon retour) and saying goodbye (for now) until I am back around December.

I will be back “online� on Tuesday evening (European time!), meaning in the morning PST.

Ok  - Quelques petits problemes hier et ce matin:

Hier : major power failure - so I wait until this morning to do everything .........

Et ce matin: some of you might have get a 404 page (not found). Et bien - moi aussi!

As of now, until I see that with the host, I decided to put them on a side. Please, wait a bit, an update the podcast from iTunes (right click on it and choose update). It will clean up and show the last one (33 normally) - untill the new one came back.

Hope the Podcast will get back to you as soon as possible!

Update: everything seems to work fine and you can grab the lessons 34 - and the rest of the files too - on croise les doigts et on verra.

A new Book Reading and Comprehension (BRC07) have just been added - 3 little stories, in French, with a lot of questions and mix and match to better understand the texts.

A full grammar point, with a lot of exercises, on pronouns, has been added too (GEX02).

Also, remember to participate in the forums if you have any questions - and make some requests for the Podcast!

Here it goes - I know that the videos can not be played in the ipod video - That issue will be resolved from now on, and for the next videos (next podcast).

I just got a new program that works on my pc, o make some bright new and shiny mp4 format! You will still be able to play them on itunes or with quicktime directly on the computer.

Deux nouvelles:

1- As I told you, I was interviewed by the magazine Business week. The article was out for the week of November 28. It is not free from their website, but here is the address : Business week (the article name is "So you want to be an Internet star ?") - There is a nice picture of me (in the magazine).

I scanned it, so if you want I can put an extract of it in the transcript next time (as the article is not free on the Internet, I do not want to put the entire one).

2 - Also, I made for fun, some stickers, just like this one - with some different line (like " A certain ... je ne sais quoi") - If you have some ideas, please let me know, I will be glad to stick something else on my old laptop, and answers people questions where ever I bring it! (That actually happens a lot at the airport).
